Sleeping in the forest

Another drawing made by hand in a traditionl way. This one's with Sally and a character I made up, Flames the Taekwondo Fox! Hehe... the name neds a little working on. As does his hair-do. I tried a more spiky aproach, but then he looked too much like Whoarang from Tekken 4 in his military uniform. But I'm working on it.

Now I know what you're thinking: 'Oh no! Not another fan-made character!' and I agree. I did not intend for this to be put on display here since I'm no fan of the fan-made characters myself, but it turned out quite okay if you ask me and so I though it would be a shame if it wasn't uploaded.

For this one I've worked somewhat more on the background than in my previous works. Frankly I find backgrounds boring to paint and so I thought I'd skip it this time as well. But when I scanned it, it just looked too empty. So I put the two characters in a forest instead. I hope it somehow shows that I put my heart into this one.

Comments are most welcome as long as it isn't of the 'do you really think your character and Sally would be together', or 'dude, your dude needs new duds' kind. But I'm still a rookie so tips to improve my future drawings are welcome.
